All About Me

Reading has always been a hobby, but because of becoming busier with school, work, and having a social life, it has taken a back seat. Well, this semester, reading is a definite part of my life considering the fact that I am starting my major this semester. Along with reading, when I was younger, my favorite book used to be "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". I would read it all the time! That little girl that turned into a blueberry was my favorite; she was such a brat. I remember thinking she was the first person I did not feel any sympathy for. She was a fictional character. Hopefully I can embrace reading more considering my major of English Education. Ya think? Let's hope so.

  1. I also enjoyed reading as a child. My favorite books were the Bernstein Bears series, along with the television show. I think as a child we read because we wanted a mental stimulating adventure, as opposed to now, when we sometimes have to read because it is the assignment. I hope you will soon enjoy the experience of reading again, because there is so much waiting on you in the world of words and imagination.

  2. Your comment is very inspiring Tesia. I agree with the fact that children read for the adventure. Adults need to bring a little adventure back into their lives and read more often.

Reading should not be a bore :D
